Our Services

Why Choose Magee to Deliver Your Baby?

Our Labor, Delivery, and Recovery Rooms offer:

  • A comfortable, family-centered environment for labor, deliver, and recovery.
  • Innovative laboring options, such as hydrotherapy and birthing balls.
  • World-renowned obstetricians and board-certified nurse midwives.

The entire LDRs staff, from physicians to midwives to nurses to patient care technicians, take a personalized approach to your care, making every effort to create the birthing experience you've envisioned.

Everything needed for a safe, comfortable labor experience — fetal monitoring, anesthesia equipment, and a bed that pulls apart for delivery — is already in the room, integrated into the surroundings to preserve the comfort and intimacy of the environment.

As labor progresses, you can take advantage of some of the innovative birthing options available, such as hydrotherapy in showers with mobile shower heads, wireless fetal monitoring, and birthing balls. Pain relief options, should you choose to use them, are available through our 24-hour anesthesia services.

After delivery, you and your baby can enjoy the golden hour of skin-to-skin and first feeding. After the immediate recovery period, you and your newest addition will transfer to the Mother-Baby unit for the rest of your hospital stay.
