If you need outpatient infusion treatment, UPMC provides a warm, relaxed place to receive care.

Our outpatient centers let you receive infusion therapy without:

• A hospital stay.
• Limits to your activity.

We work with your referring doctor to:

• Provide quality, tailored infusion care.
• Make sure you maintain a normal routine with appointment times that work for you.

Our Outpatient Infusion Services

Our treatments and services include:

• Giving IV antibiotics, immune globulin (IVIG), and other medications.
• Biologic therapy.
• Blood transfusions.
• Hydration therapy.
• Pain management.
• Subcutaneous (SQ) and intramuscular (IM) shots.

A doctor must order the therapy you need. The length of visit times vary based on the treatment.
