The UPMC Media Relations web site provides reporters with quick access to news from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the University of Pittsburgh Schools of the Health Sciences.

Updated daily, the home page is a comprehensive source of medical information for journalists which includes news releases, background information, media kits, photos and a topical and alphabetical list of experts. We invite journalists to join our mailing list to electronically receive our releases.

The Media Relations staff are available to assist you 24/7. During business hours, please call 412-647-3555. During non-business hours, we can be reached through the UPMC paging operator at 412-647-2345. If you are requesting a condition for a patient at UPMC Presbyterian after normal business hours, please call the paging operator at (412) 647-2345 and have the administrator on duty paged. If the patient is at UPMC Mercy, call (412) 232-8111 for the administrator on duty.
