UPMC Pinnacle West Shore is the first and only hospital in Central Pennsylvania to use the Ion™ robotic bronchoscopy system, the latest technology which helps diagnose lung cancer in its earliest form. This advanced robotic technology uses minimally invasive endoscopy, allowing doctors to examine the smallest parts of the lung to find and biopsy hard-to-reach lung nodules.
