Patients generally are referred by a primary care physician (PCP) or by a specialist. Patients may self refer, but should bear in mind that most insurance plans require a referral before scheduling an appointment with a specialist.
If your insurance requires a referral, please contact your referring physician and ask him or her to fax the referral form to our scheduling office prior to your office visit. If you do not obtain approval from your insurance carrier before you are admitted, the insurance company may not cover the services. Our fax number is 412-647-1448.
