Endocrine Surgery Program

As one of the leading programs in the country for the treatment of endocrine disease, UPMC’s Endocrine Surgery Program offers patients expert, comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and endocrine pancreas.

UPMC endocrine surgeons work closely with highly specialized endocrinologists, radiologists, pathologists, and nuclear medicine physicians to provide a comprehensive team approach that meets each patient’s individual needs.

Additionally, our surgeons are nationally recognized for their expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches, in many cases helping to develop or refine these techniques.
