Procedures and Treatments
Our surgeons offer the best possible outcomes for the most challenging surgical cases. We offer minimally invasive procedures and advanced hybrid surgeries, many of which do not require opening the chest. In 2014, Dr. Mumtaz developed an innovative technique, called intercostal surgical valve replacement (iSVR), which allows him to operate on the heart between the ribs.
Together with our interventional cardiologists, our cardiovascular surgeons offer dually-performed procedures, such as robotic CABG followed by stenting, percutaneous heart valve replacement (TAVR) and hybrid convergent procedure for atrial fibrillation.
