Operation Walk Pittsburgh
Physicians at the Bone and Joint Center at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC have teamed up with Operation Walk, an international volunteer medical organization that delivers orthopaedic treatment to patients in developing regions throughout the world.
Headed by Tony DiGioia, MD, Operation Walk Pittsburgh provides free hip and knee replacements for patients in developing countries (as well as the U.S.) that have no access to life improving care for arthritis.
