The Innovation Center and Orthopaedic Program at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital

The Bone and Joint Center is committed to advancing patient care. One way we're working toward this is through our partnership with the UPMC Innovation Center.

The UPMC Innovation Center improves patient experiences and outcomes using a special approach. We use a Patient-Centered Value System (PCVS).

The PCVS means we have a constant focus on the needs of patients and families.

At the Bone and Joint Center, we:

  • Work with clinical and non-clinical teams on improvements, person-centered tools, and personalized programs.
  • Aim to give patients, families, and frontline caregivers the tools to co-design ideal care experiences.
