About Us

UPMC Horizon is a full-service, academic community hospital with campuses in Greenville and the Shenango Valley. Our relationship with UPMC and integration with facilities such as Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, UPMC Passavant, and UPMC Presbyterian enables UPMC Horizon to bring a higher level of care to our community through our variety of services and specialties.

Our satellite locations include the Womancare Center in Hermitage, diagnostic and imaging centers in New Wilmington and Mercer, and affiliated physician offices throughout Mercer and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania and Trumbull and Ashtabula counties in Ohio.

UPMC Horizon is one of only 244 hospitals in the nation to be named a Joint Commission Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for two consecutive years and is among the 7.4 percent  of 5,000 hospitals in the HIMSS Analytics (a not-for-profit subsidiary of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) database to reach "Stage 6" in electronic medical record implementation.
