Together, these machines provide valuable information and help us decide when an athlete is ready to return to normal activities.
Our facility also includes an onsite x-ray machine, which is used in sports medicine clinics to diagnose both minor and serious conditions.
Our certified athletic trainers and orthopaedic surgeons provide sports medicine services to many local high school, club, and collegiate sporting events. Athletic trainers also aid in our physical therapy and sports medicine clinics.
UPMC Sports Medicine offers both physical therapy appointments and orthopaedic surgery evaluations. Direct access physical therapy appointments are available.
