Pastoral Services

Father Dennis Veltri, “Father Denny”

Catholic Priest
On Site: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Father Denny volunteers his time in the hospital with the following responsibilities:

Visit and provide pastoral/sacramental care and/or eucharistic ministry to Catholic patients
Provide pastoral support by request to UPMC Hamot staff
Provide pastoral care by request to non-Catholic patients when a minister of their own faith is unavailable

Places to Worship

At UPMC Hamot

The All Faith Chapel and Prayer Room, near the cafeteria on the Ground Floor of the medical center, is always open for private prayer and meditation. Religious services are held seasonally. Anyone who would like to come for a service or who just needs a peaceful moment is welcome.
