Urological Comprehensive Care Program

The Urological Comprehensive Care Program is designed so that all activities associated with care are handled in the same location, from admission to surgery to discharge, with the same nurses focused on each individual patient.  The center was modeled after another popular patient-centered structure — the obstetric birthing center.

The Urological Comprehensive Care Program streamlines continuity of care by giving nurses bigger roles in each patient’s visit. The same caregiver plays an integral part in the patient’s care from beginning to end, which is very satisfying to both nurse and patient.
