Restoring and Preserving Sight: A Precious Gift

Eyesight is a precious gift but for people who have no sight or limited sight because of a birth defect, disease or injury, all of life’s experiences are dimmed.

The mission of the UPMC Eye Center is to improve quality of life and, with our discoveries, we hope to save and restore the sight for millions of people.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the UPMC Eye Center.

The Eye & Ear Institute of UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh are fortunate to receive support from donors to the Eye & Ear Foundation, an independent type III supporting organization. The Eye & Ear Foundation is dedicated to enhancing patient care by advancing academic and research efforts of the Eye & Ear Institute, which encompasses the University of Pittsburgh's Departments of Otolaryngology and Ophthalmology, UPMC Eye Center, and University Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists of UPMC.

With your gift, you help bring new science — and new solutions— to caring for and curing people with eye diseases and disorders.

The Eye and Ear Foundation Website includes information on how to make a donation and giving options such as:
